The South Cariboo

We are located in one of the best fishing areas in all BC. With many local lakes to choose from and explore you should have no trouble going home without a catch.

Lakes

Wilson Lake

Conveniently located on our Campground. Great for catching Rainbow trout.

Bridge Lake (15 mins)

Bridge Lake has numerous bays and  islands. Offers good fishing for Rainbow trout, Lake trout (lake char) and Kokanee, as well as Ling cod and Burbot. June offers the best fishing for the 3 to 5-lb Kokanee, a favourite among anglers. Spring and early summer is the best time for Rainbow trout.

Sheridan Lake (20 mins)

Lac Des Roches (15 mins)

20 mins from our campground. The lake is well-known for its trophy fishing, with Rainbow trout commonly weighing in at 3 to 5 lbs and going up to 16 lbs. The lake produces Rainbow trout consistently May through October.

Lac Des Roches (15 mins)

Renowned for its Mayfly hatch, usually occuring during May and June, which provides some of the best fly fishing in the region. Fly fishers from around the world come to the lake specifically for this hatch.

During the summer months, the deep, cool waters of Lac Des Roches help maintain good fishing conditions. While fishing during these warm months, try the deeper sections of the lake, as well as the drop offs.
